Signed urls in a notebook

Is there a way to create signed urls for our data? I'd like to use the URL in a notebook in terra to load into a genome browser.

I was looking at this documentation page for how to use `gsutil` to create signed urls but I'm not sure if there's a service account I can use to create a personal key.

Hi Peter Kerpedjiev,

It is possible to create signed URLs for files in your Terra workspace bucket. To do so, you'll need to:
1. Create a service account (using a non-Terra project)
2. Register that service account for use in Terra
3. Share your workspace with that service account. If the files are in an external bucket, add the service account as a reader.
4. Follow the instructions in the link you shared to generate a signed URL.
