Max running time

Hello,

How can I set the maximum time a job can run?

Also, when using preemptible, can I force the job to stop when it reached the last and expensive attempt?

    Hi Yosi,

     

    1) It's not possible to set the maximum time a job can run. There is a maximum time that a non-preemptible PAPI VM can survive, which is currently configured to 7 days. However, it's not a setting that you can change.

    2) I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are asking. Can you please give an example of this scenario?
