    Hi Haley,

Can you provide some additional details to help us better understand the issue you're facing?

    Email address:
    Terra billing-project:
    Cluster ID (if possible):
    Link to workspace:

Can you share the workspace where you are seeing this issue with GROUP_FireCloud-Support@firecloud.org by clicking the Share button in either the icon of your workspace in the workspace list or inside the workspace dashboard (see the icon with the three dots)? If you have access to any other billing projects, does this happen in any workspaces under those different billing projects? If you were previously able to access the terminal, when did this issue start showing and when was it last working as expected?

Do you get any any error messages? Please provide any screenshots of what it looks like when it becomes unresponsive.

Once I have these details, I will be happy to forward them to our notebooks team for a closer look.

    Many thanks,

    Jason

I have shared the workspace with firecloud support.  (https://anvil.terra.bio/#workspaces/anvil-testinghja-1119/1000G_Workspace_hja)

It crashes after approx 1 minute, regardless of what I try to do:

    Hi Haley,

Thank you for that information and for the share of the workspace. I have received word from the notebooks team that they are well aware of this issue and are pushing for a fix this week. I will let you know once I have more details about when the fix is scheduled for release.

    Kind regards,

    Jason

    Hi Haley,

I've received word from the notebook team that this issue should now be resolved. The terminal should be usable indefinitely now, just as a notebook is. The root cause turned out to be a Google load balancer setting. Google support confirmed the issue, and our engineers tested and applied a fix.

You should no longer be seeing this issue going forward. If you have any difficulties with the terminal, please let us know!

    Kind regards,

    Jason
