In the Terra Cloud Environment terminal, a lengthy command

I want to run a lengthy command using the terminal on a Terra workspace Cloud Environment. In some circumstances, I want it to run continuously on a GPU for days.

However, my VM appears to be turned off by a timeout. The timeout,in my mind, was for "inactivity."

Please explain how to allow a terminal command to execute through on a Terra VM.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. To execute long running commands, you will need to adjust the autopause time, which is 30 minutes by default. Please see How to adjust Cloud Environments autopause for instructions.
