HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request error message
Some users have reported seeing HTTP Status 400 messages when trying to perform basic actions or load information in Terra. The errors come with varying headers, such as:
- Error loading data
- Error loading OAuth2 account status
- Error loading NIH account link status
Below is an example of an Error loading data Details box.

This HTTP Status 400 - Bad Request error message appears to occur due to the URL generated for an account's profile picture combined with the new token generated with B2C causing a longer-than-expected header.
As a workaround, we suggest affected users
- Log out of Terra
- Remove the profile picture from their Google Accounts at https://myaccount.google.com/personal-info
- Log back into Terra.
Our engineering teams are aware of the issue and currently working to resolve the overall issue. Please follow this thread for updates.
