Service Incident - June 11, 2020

Our external ID linking service is currently returning errors on request with Bearer Tokens. This is impactful for users who link to DCF and DCP Frameworks.

A Terra UI bug is resulting in existing or newly linked DCP or DCF Framework links not showing up on the Profile page. Page will appear as though the user is not linked.

See the Timeline section for the latest troubleshooting and resolution updates and the Impact section to understand how this could impact your use of the system.

June 16 , 2020 3:17 PM ET - Issue resolution - The UI team has released a fix to production, and this issue is now resolved.

June 11 , 2020 3:17 PM ET - Issue investigation - The issue was erroneously classified as an issue with the external ID service, but has since revealed itself to be a UI issue. The UI team is currently investigating.

June 11 , 2020 9:49AM ET - Issue investigation - The error is determined to be showing consistently for all APIs. The underlying issue is under investigation.

June 9, 2020 - Issue discovered - One of our engineers noticed that they received a 401 error on request with bearer tokens.

Users attempting to create new links with DCP or DCF Fence Frameworks might see their link appear briefly, but then disappear, looking like they are not linked.

Users with previously established links will appear to no longer be linked.

Users are still linked to the frameworks in reality, even though the information is missing in the UI.
