Can't install BioConductor Homo.sapiens in R notebook

I'm working in the bioconductor docker container:

Most of the packages I need are pre-installed, but I also need Homo.sapiens.

I tried to install:

But it won't install because of a "non-zero exit status." The root of the problem seems to be either the RBGL package, which I tried to install separately but also get the "non-zero exit status," or having old versions of DT and snow, which I also tried to update but this appeared to have no impact on installing Homo.sapiens.

Any advice on how to get Homo.sapiens installed in my notebook?

Thanks!

    Hi Katie Saund,

Can you try deleting your current cloud environment and persistent disk? I wonder if there are some packages currently installed that are interfering with the Homo.sapiens package installation.

I was able to successfully install Homo.sapiens in my notebook after starting a new R/Bioconductor cloud environment:

    Thank you, Samantha!

Deleting the current cloud environment and persistent disk then starting a fresh session resolved the issue. I just got Homo.sapiens installed.

It's good to know about this work around for future issues, too.

    Thanks for the quick help!
