Increasing disk size on attached persistent disk does not increase space on /home/jupyter/notebooks

Hi,

I am using a jupyter notebook on Terra, and I am trying to increase the amount of disk space available from 100 GB to 200 GB on /home/jupyter/notebooks where I am storing various files.

I am still receiving "No space left on device" errors, and I checked the disk free space. Attached a screenshot of the output. Is the additional disk space not being allocated to the right location?

Thank you!

    Update:

The next time I started the cloud environment (today, after increasing the disk 3 days ago), the additional disk was present on /home/jupyter/notebooks. I'm not sure why there was a delay, maybe it was related to the maintenance period? Nonetheless, the issue is now resolved!

    Hi Sabrina,

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get your Cloud Environment updated! I did some testing and can confirm that the Cloud Environment PD does not update immediately, even after pausing and resuming the Cloud Environment. I am going to look into why this might be happening and get back to you if I discover anything.

If you have any other questions please let us know!

    Kind regards,

    Emil

    Hi Sabrina,

We have looked into this some more and were not able to consistently replicate the issue you encountered - it appears to have been a transient.

Let us know if you experience this issue again and we will be happy to take another look.

    Kind regards,

    Emil
