Adding users to Terra billing project
I've got a Terra billing project that I'd like to add users to. When I try adding their email, I get an error message that the email address is not found. Do users have to log in to Terra before they can be added?
Also, I have several lab members to add to my project. Is there a way to add multiple emails at once, or do I need to add them one at a time?

Hi Marisa,
Thanks for writing in. In order to add users to a billing project, they will indeed need to be registered in Terra. Once they visit https://app.terra.bio, sign in, and register, you should be able to add them.
At this time you'll need to add them one by one. This is true whether you add them through the UI or through Swagger. The only way to bulk-add members to a group would be if they were already defined in a Terra group and you added that whole group to the billing project. Were you to create a new Terra group, the users would need to be added individually there as well.
I wasn't able to find an active feature request for the ability to bulk add users to billing projects or groups, but if you would like to see either of these features created I recommend posting to the Feature & Documentation Requests board! Other users will be able to find and upvote/comment on your post with their support. The Product team takes the popularity of requests into consideration when deciding which features to build.
