    Hi Sehyun Oh,

Thanks for writing in. Can you clarify what you mean when you say you're using git in your cloud environment? Any examples you can provide would be great.

    Best,

    Samantha

    Hi Samantha,

Let me try: I have a billing project which uses RStudio cloud environment, where I cloned my private git repository and set the git configuration.

    • 1) If someone clone this workspace with their own billing project, none of this information will be shared, right?
    • 2) If I share this billing project with others and they clone this workspace, what will they see? They can access the cloned git repository and/or my git configuration?

    Thanks,

    Sehyun

    Hi Samantha,

I just tested multiple scenario of sharing workspace and learned that cloud environment is not sharable in any situation. So none of my questions above is applicable anymore. Thanks!
