Kick off an HPC Slurm job (e.g. to BLAST) from Terra?
We have a number of users who have traditionally used the command line to submit Slurm HPC Genomics jobs in GCP (like BLAST). Is there an equivalent best practice in Terra or way they should be doing this? Thanks!

Hi Eric,
Thanks for writing in. Are you specifically looking for a CLI for Terra? If so, FISS would be your best bet, which is a programmatic interface for Terra. This will allow you to submit Terra workflows via command line.
If you're interested in seeing or working with the low-level API, you can find those here: https://api.firecloud.org/
To use them in the UI, please ensure you authorize your account by clicking the lock icon, checking the boxes, and hitting Authorize before executing any commands.
