Estimating GCE Costs
We need to prepare a budget that includes the use of Terra for data upload, storage, and processing. Is there any way we can estimate GCE costs without benchmarking our workflows?

Hi Elliot,
It may be possible to make fairly good estimates for storage, but processing is a bit more difficult since there are a variety of factors that can influence the overall cost, such as whether or not preemptibles are needed, whether re-runs of the workflow are necessary, etc. Your best bet for estimating costs would be to use a combination of https://cloud.google.com/compute/all-pricing and https://cloud.google.com/products/calculator.
