Job Manager page fails to load

When attempting to load the job managers page (in order to debug a workflow failure), I received the following message:

Job Manager is running but encountered a problem getting data from its workflow server.

503: Service Unavailable

I click to start over and  I get the same error message a couple of minutes later.

My submission consists of a single workflow (WES_Characterization_Pipeline).

Hi Chet, thanks for letting us know. I will see if I can replicate this and follow up with further questions.

Hi Chet, I am not having luck recreating this. If you are still seeing this issue, can you share the workspace with GROUP_FireCloud-Support@firecloud.org

Will do.  Using the legacy FireCloud GUI I was able to identify the reason for the failure in the workflow and re-submit the workflow.  In the new Terra GUI, I still get the Job Manager error when viewing the failed submission, but it comes up when viewing the currently running (i.e., resubmitted) workflow.  Note that the workspace is in the TCGA dbGaP Authorization Domain.

I'm glad you were able to debug and get the workflow relaunched. What is the workspace name?

Hi Chet, we think we've figured out why the Job Manager page is failing to load and there is a bug raised for it to be fixed in the next few weeks. We will follow up when it gets released. Thank you for reporting it.
