Accessing public Google-hosted datasets from our workspace
Hi there my team and I were wondering if there was a straightforward way to include datasets that are currently hosted in Google Cloud into our workspace without necessarily downloading them and reuploading them to Terra?
For example would it be possible to add this dataset without re-hosting it? https://console.cloud.google.com/marketplace/product/united-states-census-bureau/acs?project=terra-1088a84f
Thanks

Hi Aniebiet,
Thank you for writing to Terra Support! We hope that we can sort this out.
It should be possible to bring a BigQuery dataset to your Terra workspace via Data Explorer. Alternatively, if you are looking to analyze the data in a notebook without bringing the data to your workspace, you can follow the tutorial here.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you find success with either of these options. I look forward to your reply.
Best,
Anthony
Ah I see. So it seems there's no way to reference the data straight from bigquery without downloading it locally? Also that repo you linked hasn't been updated in 2 years. Are the specialty data explorers still supported?
