Service Incident - July 18, 2022 (Galaxy)

Galaxy environment creation is not working at this time due to a system reliance on a no-longer-supported version of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

July 19, 2022 11:15 AM ET - Issue remediation - We have released a fix that should allow users to once again create Galaxy environments.

July 18, 2022 11:45 AM ET - Contacted Galaxy team - We have connected with our collaborators on the Galaxy team to ensure Galaxy gets migrated to a supported version of GKE.

July 18, 2022 9:00 AM ET - Issue identified & investigating fix - Our engineers were alerted by a group of collaborators that Galaxy app creation was not working. An investigation determined this to be the result of a specific version of GKE no longer being supported by Google. Our engineers are gathering information to determine a course of action that will resolve this issue.


Users will not be able to use Galaxy cloud environments until this issue is resolved.
