Service Incident - July 15, 2022 (R/RStudio files syncing)

We identified an issue with the syncing of .R and .Rmd files created from within an RStudio session to the workspace bucket.

July 19, 2022 11:15 AM ET - Issue remediation - We have released a fix and R/RStudio files should once again be syncing.

July 15, 2022 11:37 AM ET - Escalated priority - We have raised the priority level of the issue and are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

July 12, 2022 2:55 PM ET - Issue investigation - Our engineers began investigating the root cause of the issue.

July 8, 2022 12:00 PM ET - Issue identified - Our cloud environment engineers discovered an issue with the syncing of .R and .Rmd files created within an RStudio session.


Users who create .R or .Rmd files via an RStudio session may not see their files sync with the workspace bucket. As a workaround until this issue is resolved, you can manually save your file by running a gsutil cp command.
