Our engineers have identified an issue affecting some workflows. The error presents as a Failed workflow with an error like the following:

Futures timed out after [60 seconds]

June 16, 2021 04:00 PM ET - Remediated - Our engineers consider this issue Remediated. If you happen to run into the error, a rerun of the job should get you around it. If you find that you are consistently seeing this error, please let us know.

June 15, 2021 11:06 AM ET - First remediation step - Our engineers have applied a remediation step they hope will result in these errors no longer presenting in Terra. We are monitoring workflows to see if any new workflows result in this error.

June 15, 2021 10:30 AM ET - Another case - Frontline Support has discovered a third use facing the issue described in the summary. Workflow engineers are prioritizing the investigation of this issue as a team.

June 10, 2021 12:00 PM ET - Issue discovered - Frontline Support was made aware of two users who have experienced this issue. Workflow engineers created a ticket for an internal investigation.


Some users may see their workflow fail with the message Futures timed out after [60 seconds].

Workaround: Re-run the job with call caching enabled.
