The following release notes correspond to the dates October 11 to October 24, 2025.
This release also includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google integrations to improve upcoming features.
Workspaces
- Fixed a bug that caused "Out of sort memory" errors in data tables, typically when viewing large set tables.
- The workspace submission history page now defaults to showing submissions submitted in the last 30 days, with an option to show all submissions. This should improve the performance for workspaces with many submissions.
- Added support for interactive filtering of VCF files when using the Integrative Genomics Viewer (IGV) in workspace data tables. When you open a single VCF in Terra's IGV, you can instantly query across your dataset to explore metadata such as Variant Type, Allele Frequency, Allele Frequency by Population, and Read Depth.
