The following release notes correspond to the dates August 23 to August 28, 2025.
This release also includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google integrations to improve upcoming features.
Workflows
- Clarified helper text that cost thresholds do not currently estimate the costs for disk storage associated with workflows. Cost estimations currently only include VM CPU and RAM costs.
Workspaces
- IGV no longer requires a file's associated index file to be on the same row as long as the name of the index file is the same as the genomic file. This should improve the ability to use IGV with AnVIL and other datasets.
- Newly created workspaces now use a more optimized format for data tables for increased performance and scalability. Existing workspaces have not been modified, but will be migrated to use the more optimized format in the future. If you are interested in migrating your existing workspaces ahead of time, a private feature flag is available. Please contact support for more information.
