Service Incident - January 11, 2024 (Workflows)

Summary

We've identified an issue that impacts Terra on Azure users running workflows from recently created Billing Projects.

See the Timeline section for the latest troubleshooting and resolution updates and the Impact section to understand how this could impact your use of the system. 

Timeline

January 12, 2024 9:00 AM - Issue Remediated - Our engineering teams were able to deploy a fix that has remediated this issue.  We were also able to determine that the number of affected users was low. 

January 11, 2024 10:30 AM - Issue Declared  - Our engineering teams detected the issue and declared that was a Service Incident.  They are currently working to resolve the issue.

Impact

Affected users would see their workflow tasks stay in a running state indefinitely.  These workflows may be difficult to abort. Costs will still grow while these workflows are in the running state. We're currently working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

If a workflow has been successfully completed in the workspace before, then that workspace should be unaffected.
