    Hi Marisa Lim,

Thanks for reaching out. Both terra-billing@terra.bio and terra-billing@firecloud.org are correct, and you can use either to link your GCP billing account to Terra.

Does the billing project you are trying to create show up when you refresh the page?

    Best,

    Samantha

    Hi Samantha,

    Thanks for the clarification!

There is a red exclamation point next to the billing projects that failed (even after refreshing):

The 1st project listed above was made several months ago and it works just fine :) The ones that are failing I tried making yesterday and today.

    Hi Marisa Lim,

What is the error message you receive when you hover over the red circles next to the failed billing projects?

    Best,

    Samantha

    Hi Marisa Lim,

Sorry, I missed that comment. That error indicates that you tried to create a billing project with the name of an already existing Google project. The names for billing projects must be completely unique, not only for Terra, but for all Google projects. Terra creates a Google Project of the same name on your behalf so it cannot share the same name as any other project. If you choose a name that's unique, you should be able to create it successfully. Adding part of your name or initials, or appending -terra to the name might help.

    Best,

    Samantha

    Aha, that worked! Thanks.

It would be really helpful if there was a warning on Terra during billing project creation that the name is already in use. I recall that GCP warns me if I try to use an existing project name.
