Resource Autoscale Policies

I'd like to request the implementation of autoscaling policies for cloud computing resources. This feature would allow for the automatic scaling of resources (such as CPU, memory, and disk space) based on the demands of the, for example, Hail jobs. This would not only optimize performance by ensuring adequate resources are available during peak usage but also help control costs by scaling down resources when not needed. thus increasing cost-effectiveness.

For example, I am currently running analyses in Hail with 102 workers at about $13 an hour. However, the 102 workers are only needed for a couple of hours out of 12-hour run, the rest is handled by a single worker. With current setup, each run costs me $156. With autoscale enabled, the cost would be closer to $60, or 60% less.
