View workflow version in job history
Hello,
I'm unable to see what specific workflow version was used for a given analysis in the job history. Having a record of the workflow version is useful and important information for data provenance.
I've checked this Terra article on pipeline versioning, but it doesn't mention where to find the workflow version. I saw this completed feature request, but this is not a sufficient solution because it does not track the code of any imported WDL files, only the the main file.
It would be great if the workflow version tag is clearly indicated in the job history page for a submission, or at least recorded somewhere in the logs if it is not already. Also the commit hash would be useful as well since technically developers can change the workflow code and publish under the same version tag.
Thanks!

+1 - we've asked for this before, it's really necessary. Agreed that the version tag & commit hash is what I'd like to see. Currently we have to record the version manually in the submission comments or a spreadsheet, but if someone forgets, that information is lost. It also really should not live in the Workflow Dashboard which disappears a year after submission.
