The following release notes correspond to the dates August 3 to August 7, 2026.
This release also includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google integrations to improve upcoming features.
Interactive Analysis
- Read-only previews for notebook files (.R, .ipynb) are no longer available. Users can launch their notebook VM to view, edit, and run files.
Workflows
- The Terra call table now includes links to the GCP Batch job, the task execution directory, and the inputs/outputs view.
- "Workflow Dashboard" has been renamed to "Workflow Details." Users requiring Job Manager can still navigate to it from the Workflow Details page.
