NIH Researcher Auth Service (RAS) is currently experiencing problems in production. As a result, Terra users may have trouble linking their accounts at this time.
December 14, 2021 7:21 PM ET - Terra team notified of issue resolution - We received the following email update from NIH IT support:
"Update: The NIH Login Open ID Connect (OIDC) and Researcher Auth Service (RAS) services were intermittently unavailable earlier today. The issue has been resolved and the services are now consistently available."
December 14, 2021 11:34 AM ET - Terra team notified of incident - NIH IT support notified us via email of an issue with the RAS service being unavailable in production:
"The NIH Login Open ID Connect (OIDC) and Researcher Auth Service (RAS) services are intermittently unavailable in Production. NIH engineers are currently working to resolve the issues and a follow up notification will be sent when the services are consistently available."
Terra users may receive 400 errors when linking their NIH accounts in their Terra profile.
