October 15, 2025 9:32 AM ET - Root cause identified - After meeting with the GCP Batch team, the engineers determined that a recent release on the GCP side caused this issue. The Batch team is now working on rolling back the breaking change to our region (us-central1).
October 14, 2025 11:28 AM ET - Issue Escalated - Our engineers are currently working on resolving the issue and meeting with the GCP Batch team to investigate.
October 12, 2025 12:56 PM ET - Issue Identified - A user alerted our engineers to an error they were receiving when running a workflow that pulled a private image from GAR.
Impact
Users will get authentication errors when running workflows that pull private GAR images.
