The following release notes correspond to the dates April 12, 2025 to April 18th, 2025.

This release also includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google integrations to improve upcoming features.

DUOS

  • Added a custom data library for the International Fetal Genomics Consortium at https://duos.org/datalibrary/IFGC
  • We updated the DUOS signing official text for library cards to provide clearer guidelines for signing officials.
  • To satisfy compliance requirements, we updated the final attestation text for DAR Submission to include  "attesting you are a permanent employee of your institution at a level equivalent to, at a minimum, a tenure-track professor or senior researcher. This does not include lab technicians or trainees, e.g., post-docs or graduate students."

Workspaces

  • Renamed the "Settings" button on data tables to "Select Columns" to more accurately represent what the button does, and added the ability to search for column names to make it easier to find and select columns for large data tables.
  • Workspace owners can now manage their workspace settings and perform other administrative actions (such as sharing and deleting workspaces) even if they lose access to a workspace due to the presence of an Authorization Domain (NOTE: This does NOT change the requirement that users must have access to the Authorization Domain to be able to access data in the workspace).
  • Added the ability to permalink to a workspace using a unique identifier instead of the workspace namespace and name. This permalink is best to use for cataloging or citations that assume a link to a workspace will remain stable and not change over time. This paves the way for updated functionality that will allow owners to change the billing project associated with a workspace.
