The following release notes correspond to May 12, 2021 - May 17, 2021. In addition to the items below, this release includes back-end updates to workflows, notebooks, User Interface and Google Integrations to improve upcoming features.

Data Repository

  • Users can now return information about the location of metadata for datasets using the retrieveDataset endpoint, as well as the location of snapshots (e.g. currently BigQuery information) using the retrieveSnapshot endpoint.

 

Interactive analysis (Notebooks, RStudio, Galaxy)

  • Galaxy has been updated to version to 21.01. See release notes here.
  • The "Startup script" field in the Terra Cloud Environment window now works for RStudio runtimes. This field can be used to customize the compute environment by running a script at the instance start time.
