The following release notes correspond to March 4, 2021 - March 18, 2021. In addition to the items below, this release includes back-end updates to Workflows, User Interface and Google Integrations to improve upcoming features.

Default zones expanded for workflows in us-central1
Terra will now submit workflows to all zones in the us-central1 region by default. Previously, only zones b, c, and f were used and zone a was omitted for legacy reasons.

Because all zones in a region are treated identically for billing purposes, there will be no effect on costs. Users who override the defaults by specifying custom zones in their WDL runtime attributes will see no change.

Note that zone lettering is non-consecutive: us-central1 is comprised of a, b, c, f only. For more information, see
