The following release notes correspond to February 24, 2021 - March 1, 2021. In addition to these notes, this release includes back-end updates to Workflows and Google Integrations to improve upcoming features.
Notebooks
- For AnVIL Terra users, the default Galaxy configuration was updated from two n1-standard-8 nodes to one n1-highmem-8 node. This reduces the cost of Galaxy instances from $0.84/hr to $0.55/hr and allows them to run more memory-intensive jobs.
User Interface
- Cloud environment cost estimate calculations now take into account Dataproc, GCE, and Galaxy virtual machine external IP address pricing.
- The workflow submission page now has a checkbox to allow the use of reference image disks. Read more about reference image disks in Terra documentation.
