To successfully renew access to data in DUOS, you’ll submit a new request with the DAR ID of your initial request and detailed and complete information across the following subjects in the DAR Research Use Statement (RUS).

1. Research progress
- Summarize key research activities and findings based on the datasets accessed under this project.
- List any intellectual property developed as a result of using the data (such as patents or tools).
- Outline your future research plans with these datasets.
2. Presentations
- List all presentations (e.g., conferences, webinars) that used analyses of the data.
- If no presentations were made, explicitly state that in the text box.
3. Publications and manuscripts
- Provide citations of all publications or manuscripts that resulted from using the data.
- If there are no publications, indicate that clearly in the text box.
Additional steps (no text required but be prepared)
- Confirm and review selected datasets when you submit your DAR to renew access.
- Review and agree to the Data Use Certification (DUC), Library Card Agreement (LCA), and Data Use Limitations (DUL).
- Finalize the application and submit for DAC review.
