The following release notes correspond to the dates March 22-28, 2025.
This release also includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google integrations to improve upcoming features.
Terra Data Repository (data submitters)
- Updated the look and feel for creating full view snapshots
- TDR dataset users can now see whether a dataset has inherit stewards enabled.
- There's now an admin-only endpoint for enabling and disabling dataset custodian inheritance of the steward role on snapshots made from that dataset. Data Custodians working for GP can revert this flag if it was accidentally set.
- Updated the Dataset Roles and Membership page to include information about new Dataset Custodian inheritance feature.
Data access
- We removed the Data Catalog from the Terra Data Library page. The Data Library is still there, and we encourage users to go to DUOS to use the new DUOS Data Library.
- Automatically generating data tables with file pointers in a workspace is now generally available. When using the data uploader in a workspace, there's an option to automatically generate a data table based on known file patterns for single and paired-end sequencing.
