. This release includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google and Azure integrations to improve upcoming features.
Data Repo
- Concurrent load operations (e.g. file ingests) to different TDR datasets are now allowed to use the same load tag. Previously, load tags were universally locked while in use with no regard for the destination dataset.
User Interface
- We've expanded our file preview capabilities to support a broader range of genomics file types, including VCF and FASTQ, which are plain text but typically use non-text file extensions. Additionally, we've enhanced previews for structured files like TSV and VCF, providing useful metadata rather than just displaying the first few lines. We've introduced functionality to render the images, HTML, and PDF directly within the UI. The newly supported file types include Images, PDF, HTML, TXT, CSV, TSV, LOG, JSON, FASTQ, FASTA, FA, VCF, SAM, BED, INTERVAL_LIST, GTF, and MD.
