This release note corresponds to the dates May 31, 2024 to June 7, 2024. This release includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google and Azure integrations to improve upcoming features.

User Interface

  • On the Submission Details page, each workflow ID now links to its specific execution directory. Similarly, the "Execution Directory" button on the Run Details page now links to the execution directory instead of to the general workspace directory. You can now find your generated data more easily with one click on the worfklow ID for any given submission.
  • We've fixed a bug where policy information was not displayed in some parts of Terra UI for GCP workspaces with protected data imported into them. This was only a display issue, as the policy was still enforced.

Cloud Integrations

  • Azure workspace cloning is now an asynchronous operation. You'll notice you're no longer brought to the destination workspace, which historically resulted in errors, but instead receive a status message indicating that the workspace cloning is in progress until it is successful. Once you see the success indicator, you must manually navigate to the destination workspace. You can monitor the progress of the clone on your Workspaces list page.
