This release note corresponds to the dates June 2, 2023 to June 6, 2023. This release includes back-end updates to workflows, interactive analysis (Notebooks, Galaxy, RStudio), user interface, Data Repository, and Google and Azure integrations to improve upcoming features.

Data tables in Terra on Azure will now ignore trailing tabs in a TSV.

Data Repo

We've updated the underlying code for the "dataset filtering"/"snapshot create" side panel in the UI. Instead of directly querying BQ from the UI, we are now using the new column stats TDR API endpoint. This will be more cost effective, as it will only query BQ when filtering on a column.. We still only support filtering on non-array text and numeric field, but now there is a message indicating why you cannot filter on a given field.
